New guy here, My name is Mike. I'm a first time Mustang owner but a Ford guy. I purchase a 2017 Mustang Premium PP around the first of June. Since then i've added a Roush cold air, axle backs, x pipe resonator delete and a Lund tune. My car is a stick. I really love this thing; it's so much fune to drive. I owned a Superformance Cobra for several years and while the car was super cool living in Missouri made summer driving like bobbing for french fries. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from all the guys and gals on the site. Next thing i'm looking at is a short throw shifter. Enough said for now.

OK, you qualify. Now, then: how do you pronounce the name of your Missouri town? As if it were missing an apo strofe, or "Offal on"?

You only need to remember three letters for a Short Throw Shifter -- M-G-W. Anything else is a distant third. There is nothing more to say on the subject.

I'm outside of Saint Louis in Saint Charles Country which is the burbs. West of the city. I do not have the Cobra any longer. I owned it for about eight years and it was the fulfillment of a life long dream. It was a Superfornance but with Missiouri's hell like summers it wasn't much fun to drive when it was in the nineties. I sold it to a guy in France and he had it shipped over. I'm really enjoying the Mustang and have already put an Xpipe, axle backs, cold air and a Lund ngauge tune on it. I need now to do a data log and send it to Lund for a tweak. I will, in the near future be getting the e85 tune.One thing I don't like about the car is the long, long clutch push so i've got an extension that fits over the pedal while retaining the stock cover.I don't like being so close to the wheel. I have the Clutch Pedal Extender also, really lets me get a more comfortable driving position

I'm doing some engine dress ups also. I have an intake cover from RPI designs being made and have put the Billet coyote plaques on my coil covers. I'm not painting them but I'm going to mask off the plaques and clear coat over them for a nice shiny finish. Should look really good with the plenum which I ordered in a very dark red and black carbon fiber. The car is really loud especially on cold start which I do it would be but it settles down and it can be kept quiet as long as you drive it right. Personally I love the sound. My favorite Mustang of all time was the Boss 302 and that high-revving little motor which reminds me of this new car. Have a good weekend. Mike

Congrats on the new car. I also live in St charles county. Have you been to any of the Cars and coffee events in the area? At most of the events there is a pretty good turn out of S550’s. Maybe i will see you there some time.

No I haven't been to any type of Mustang events yet. I see there is one at Pundmann Ford on August 3rd which I will make. Might as well get involved. Thanks for the message. Enjoy the weekend. Mike
