Are those supposed to keep the brake dust to a minimum? The factory ones create a lot of dust.
Yes they are supposed to have less brake dust.

I finished the brakes today. Flushed out the system with Motul RBF 600. Used a whole 500ml bottle. The car doesn't nose dive as hard with the Z26 pads in the rear vs the Brembo pads. Did an oil change with Pennzoil Platinum 5W-20 and K&N oil filter. Swapped over to UPR billet drain plug.
Installed 5mm wheel spacers as well.

I know we are unlikely to tell from a photo, but do the 5mm spacers make a difference to the naked eye i.e. are they worth it ?

How about stud length front and rear - I assume everything is still OK (assuming standard studs) ?

I had been thinking about 5mm on the PP1 wheels for a while now :like:

Cheers,

5mm Isn't much but it's cheaper then getting new rims at the moment. At least I no know how I want my future rims to sit. I'm actually surprise that there is a slight difference in the way the car handles now.... for the better.
Stud length was still good.

The below pics are with the spacers on.

Got me a MRT shift know. Bigger vs stock, but to me feels better in my bare hands. I would go with the smaller knob, if/when I use gloves.

Yes they did. Steeda also has a Youtube vid regarding those rotors and in which orientation to install them.

from what I have read and been told I thought you couldn't put spacers on the front wheels ?

These spacers are only 5mm slip-on versions. You can put thicker ones with longer studs. No weird vibrations with the spacers on.

Sooooo.....I installed the Steeda subframe bushings, subframe alignment kit and vertical links. It's a total different car now.

I stripped one bolt during reassembly, so bought a 4 pack of bolts at ford. Was 9 dollars each. Bought a few taps through Amazon. Finding the bolts locally took a few weeks.

Made a goofy extension for the tab and took about an hour going slowly to retab 2 bolt holes.

The car tracks straight during high speed braking and hard accelerations. Sliding through mild corners is more controllable in Track mode. No extra noise inside the cabin.

I bought the Steeda deflector kit, thinking it was a big bigger vs the one that mine came with. Nope it's the same. Shiny black one is the Steeda one.

On the rear I swapped out the 5mm spacer for a 3mm spacer. The 5mm spacer had some vibration at really high speeds and "wind" noise at 80 or so mph. The front still has the 5mm spacers in place.
It might be in my head, but I feel the car drives nicer with the 3mm in the rear in Track mode.
