All new suspension being installed today. I’m hoping it all goes well and does what i’m looking for my street car.
I’ve read a lot of other members suspension input and asked a lot of advice to finally decide on the parts.

Steeda Fixed Proaction shocks and struts
PP springs bought off a members new 18
Steeda billet shock mounts
Steeda irs support braces and bushing kit

I’ll give my input when I can put some miles on it.

Hey TJ, I tried to have everything installed on Saturday but there was a problem with the threads on the rear shocks. They were not threaded far enough up which I guess causes a gap and clunking issues over large bumps. This manufacturing problem caused all kind of issues for my installer and now Im on stock rear shocks hoping I can get a replacement on Monday for one of the rears that got cross threaded. The other one was able to be tapped further to solve the issue. I have a 300 mile road trip on Friday and I'm hoping I don't have to do it on a half assed suspension.
On the bright side the front feels really solid, so I can't wait to see how the rear shocks and mounts feel once installed.
Anything you can do to help me get a replacement fast would be greatly appreciated.

Hey TJ, so I ended up buying another shock and that one also had threads that would not work with the nuts. My installer re-tapped the shock shaft to get the nut to thread so we could get the job done. Anyways after driving a week without the rear shocks on and no clunking at all, today I had the rears installed with shock mounts. I went on a 300 mile road trip after install, everything was great for first 200 miles, last 100mi I developed a clunkig sound in the rear over every little bumb now, like something is loose, any ideas what to do?

Re-check and torque upper shock nut to 30ftlbs.
Please pm your contact info and I will go over the install with you.
Thank you,
