The hood and front fenders on all S550 Mustangs are aluminum."recontoured ALUMINUM front fenders" -Ford is working on the weight-- how about all aluminum body structure from the new F150 production tech?
GO FORD!
Sure but you'll need the GT350 front bumper and supporting hardware.Anybody dare to guess if the front fenders on a gt can be changed for the gt350 ones?
I like that the stripes are a little thinner -- it doesn't look over done, like it can be taken seriously -- and that the badge is small on the back -- I mean, we all know what the car is, right? I'm not sure about the black trim either -- seems like it should all match the stripes or body. I'm not sure about the spoiler at all.Overall it's. 9.5/10.
Likes:
All the performance parts and engine, FPC is a fresh and bold move
Fangs on front end
Shelby lettering in the black front splitter
Fender scoops
On the fence:
Stripes seem skinny
Cobra badge in rear end looks kinda small
Black mirrors, but I get they're trying to accent with the other black trim and rear spoiler
there is no law stating you cannot strip it yourselfI can appreciate the car and would accept up to $80K for a base price but this car needs to be Z28++/911-S/GTR/Vette/Viper track capable. For weight 3500lbs dry would be fine with standard interior. The R model should be 200lbs less and even more raced out.
A stripper street legal model would be nice : sans radio, carpet, speakers, trunk lining, spare, jack, sound deadening and insulation, back seat, even removal of head liner, overhead lights, power windows, locks, total removal of the daily driver bells and whistles, and a wiring harness reduced to race duty only.
From Top Gear's website:
"Sadly Ford says the GT350 - unlike the stock Mustang - won't be coming to the UK, at least not in right-hand drive. Shocked and horrified by this cruel sanction against the UK? Make some noise below, proud Brits..."
I guess that means it won't be coming to Australia either. Why not RHD???
Here, let me fix that for you;One of the undercarriage photos was a bit alarming, showing barely-insulted purple wiring going into an unprotected connector near the back edge of the front protection plate...wtf? How is that going to hold up to moisture and rocks
:lol::clap2:Here, let me fix that for you;
YOU ARE WEAK, LOW CONDUCTING WIRE! YOU ARE VIOLET, NOT PURPLE! YOU ARE UNWANTED AND YOUR PARENTS ABANDONED YOU AS A TINY WHIP!
There, should be more insulted now.
Definitely. Saw same thing from day one. Love it love it love it.Bad ass looking car.
I previously suggested this months ago, but now that we have seen this thing's face officially, can we just get it over with and officially nickname this car the Predator?
