Solid axle? Could those be new Cobra Jet derivatives? I don't see any cowl induction style hoods though. Maybe the TT Coyote doesn't need it, better aero and forward vision anyways. They don't seem to have the big slicks out back though.

I see huge brakes that would be completely worthless on a drag strip.

The "Boss LS" has A-pillar mounted gauges and what looks like another gauge pack on the top of the dash :gossip:

Gauge pack on top of the dash is standard for the Boss 302 LS.

D'oh, I forgot that!

Still, the A-pillar gauges weren't standard ;)

PLEASE be a MACH 1 :headbang:

Just curious why people are so anxious for a Mach 1? The GT350 is more car than I could have ever asked for, any new model that would be cheaper might not be much value if a regular GT can match it performance-wise with a few mods.

I'm thinking a Mach 1 would be a specialty release like a Bullit variant. Nothing really different from the GT except for a few visual mods and perhaps a suspension and/or brake tweaks.

Now if they slapped either a twin turbo or a dual charging setup on the VooDoo then called that a new Boss. That would be a step in the right direction.

I think most would complain that Ford would just charge too much money for such minor upgrades.

That sounds like what the new GT500 would be, and priced to match!

I think there's room for a Mach 1 between the GT and the GT350.

Sure, it needs the stripes and decals of a Mach 1, but give it a dose more power (DI Coyote at 450hp) and the new 10-speed auto. Add in unique, upscale, interior trim and perhaps unique front and rear fascias and you'd have a superb SE for the '17 model year............and then that engine/tranny could make its way into the standard GT for the '18MY along with the bodywork updates :)

The hood height and front end do not look low enough to be a GT350 variant. Spoiler on the one is not a GT350R spoiler.

On second thought, maybe the front and hood are lower than I realized at first glance... Still think these are not GT350s.

Look at the wheels and brakes. They don't look meant for drag racing.

Very true. Actually if you look closely, you'll see the carbon fiber wheels on one car. Looks definitely like the R.

Which is what I think the car is.

But on the off chance there is more going on, I can see them developing something else with this car as the basis.

Gt500, etc.

But my opinion is that these two cars are the stock GT350 and 350r.
