New red Mustang arrived

No fit and finish issues with my new Maisto Mustang. Pretty detailed, and I'm surprised at the size of the 1/18 scale. I was expecting a much smaller model but this thing is 7 or 8 inches long and probably 3 1/2 inches wide.

She was a total impulse buy.

It was about $30 bucks, plus $10 or so for shipping. Kinda pricey but it's solid. In addition to being pretty large, it's heavy too.

They sure do. Everything seems to be working perfectly. Ford really notched up quality control on this run.

It's 1/18 scale. 2015 Mustang is 188 inches long and 75 inches wide. If accurate, the model is about 10 1/2" long and 4 1/8" wide.
My son has this model in Deep Impact Blue, the color of his 2015 Ecoboost Premium, and I have the same color model in the smaller 1/24 scale.

Just measured it with a ruler. Holding the ruler over the top and looking down, it's a bit over 10" long and right at 4" wide.

Kinda wish I'd gone with the 1/24 scale, but this one is pretty cool. Several people have seen it in my office this morning and commented how nice it is.

I hear ya, Carzzi. Just confirmed with the body shop that we'e still on for dropping it off next Wednesday. They're telling me the repairs will likely take 3 to 3.5 weeks. Damn I'm gonna miss this car while she's in the shop.
