Thanks! I do have some decent weight savings parts - but the 3705 base weight, the SC system, the 9" upgrade and the 100lb roll bar definitely dont help me out! lol

My tuner is very impressed with the stock converter, FWIW.

I also have a Circle D modded OEM converter to test along with the BTS/PI
I'm lovin the whole stock converter/trans bit.:cheers:

Wish Ford got the weight lower on the 2015. Like the Camaro did with their new chassis. Oh well, car runs well reguardless.

Would be cool to see if the converter will get the 60' times down. Deep in the 1.2 on a IRS would be awesome. Good for testing parts and marketing. lol

At some point this year, I plan to spin it to 9,000 RPM.

1.19 sixty and 9,000 RPM = Priceless!

that depends on how the save the weight. Using expensive materials would cost more. If Ford made the car smaller you would have weight savings because material isn't there. haha I don't believe the 6th gen camaro uses any exotic materials. They built a smaller chassis/car when compared to the 4th gen. Ford went bigger and heavier.

I'll join the party of BIG congrats Kelly. You've achieved what many people thought wasn't achievable from a 2.3 TVS.

  1. Was this still with stock headers too or have you tried the LT's yet?
SORRY, just saw where you changed to the LT's.....doesn't seem like they made more power than the stock headers based off the MPH but either way, it went in the 8's.:headbang:
What fuel, E85, C-16?
What suspension you using?...........lol, J/K

So yesterday I packed everything into the car to drive it to work, then go to the track. I did that, then ran some 9.OHs and finally 8.99.

I was too excited to swap the wheels back on for the drive home, so I just made the 1.5+hr trip home on the sticky icky Mickeys. :headbonk:

If anyone has any questions about my combo, just ask!

My wife and I spoke with you in the lanes for a few minutes last night.
To help refresh your memory she asked you about your mods and Starkey.
You mentioned that you wanted to get in the 8's...Add that to the done list.

I mentioned to you that I had a goal of high 9's with an auto 2016.
I also asked about the VMP gen 2 supercharger.

I did not see your pass you made at approx. 7:30pm because my racing lane was being pulled...I sure heard it!!!

Sounded like a beast.

If I was a betting man I would say you will hit 8.50 or better for 2016.
