Picking up my Bullitt today. Buying it off the lot and it has the Recaro seat upgrade. If I ordered it I'm not sure I'd have gotten them. For those who have them are they comfortable. I'm not expecting Lexus comfort but are they livable? Also, are they power or manual? Forgive the rookie questions.

I have the Recaro's and really like them. Yes I would prefer they were power and heated, but I'm in FL and probably only use the heated function 3 or 4 times a year. I've heard the powered seats are really slow. When I exit the car I always slide the seat all the way back, makes it so much easier getting in and out of the car, probably wouldn't like waiting on the powered seat. You'll love them.

Thanks so much for the replies. I'm in Vegas plus the car is garage kept so I won't lose much without heat/ventilation. The car does have that cool bullitt electronics package and magne-ride suspension which I will use way more often. I'll take some pics when I get her home.

I would have gotten a bullitt if they offered zero pct apr. But they didn’t at the time. So I basically built my own. Got a pp2 with the premium package, b&o stereo and active valve exhaust.

Good luck with the car, the dark highland green is beautiful.

Thanks. Luckily I didn't have to finance. Got a good price for my trade plus $1500 in rebates. Chevy is offering 0% 84 months go figure.

One more question if you don't mind. I've read several reviews and the complaint I see most often is the MT82 tranny. Do you guys have many issues with it like hard shifts, wrestling into gears etc?. My last manual trans was a 13 GT500 Tremec and I'm not expecting it to be as good.

I have no issues with the MT82. It does what it was designed to do with no drama. Nice and smooth. My only issue is when I pull it out of reverse to put in first, if I don't pay attention it goes back into reverse. No "hard shifts",

I have the Recaro's and like them. The car is not a daily driver, but something special. I did a 500+ mile drive in one day the first summer, and they were comfortable, and very supportive.

Thanks. That's reassuring. I sat in Recaros once in my buddy's GT350. They were the cloth ones not as nice as the leather in the Bullitt. They felt fine but I only sat in them for a minute. Granted I'm not too wide 34" waist but I could see how they would be uncomfortable for bigger fellows.

I like the look of the Recaro’s even more than the comfort. Really makes the interior look race ready! I’m pretty stocky and I don’t find them uncomfortable but ingress/egress does suck.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you are a mortarman?
Still in? If not what years did you serve?
