Hi everyone, just want to intro myself. I am new to the forum and just purchased a 2017 Shelby GT350 with 1,800 miles . Grabber blue (no stripes) + tech package. It will arrive in a week or 2.

(Surprisingly, I am coming from a Porsche 911 and wanted something a little more badass for my daily driver.)

Side note: If anyone is in the SF bay area and could let me know about potential meetups/cruises, etc. I would love to join!

Welcome and congrats! I'm similar to your as well, came out of a 993 to get into the Shelby. Zero regrets, basically a better car in every way. Local to you as well but don't have any knowledge of local meet ups. Would like to find some though. If you have not ever done it, check out Mines Rd. in Livermore. From Livermore back to the top of Hamilton its over 50 miles of two lane country road. Go early in the morning and you likely won't see many if any other cars. So much fun! And yes do keep a tight check on that oil level.

Lots of good roads in the South Bay too. HWY 9, Skyline, Page Mill, 84/Woodside.

Looks nice. I suggest buying some 5W50 now and keep it handy. If you stop to get gas and check the level, they won’t have thst weight oil in the store if you need some. It’s not commonly carried.

Welcome! As others said, Oil but, just know, all 350's do not need oil. My 16 needed zero between oil changes but, It did use a little and, I did check it constantly

Yep, there are a few stations in the bay area that have 93. Also, yes I am a bit worried about the new exhaust law. CA is just getting worse and worse :(
