I got my 305/35r19 Nitto NT555Rii tires on today. I haven't had a chance to really test how they hook yet but I am extremely pleased with how smooth and quiet they are.

Those look like a nice option for the street. I just got some NT05Rs, which are good, but I think I would have went with these if I had known.

I had planned on NT05Rs but decided to give these a try. They should be a little better for street use.

Do the tires look to fit the 10's properly? I assume so.

10 inch is the minimum and 12 inch is the maximum. 11 inch would be just right but I have no concerns with the 10s. The car corners quite well. I really can't tell any handling difference from the 285s that I had on the car before.

It has warmed up some here in Minnesota and I was able to try out the Nittos better from a dig. They do hook very well....even at normal street PSI and without a burnout. Just punching the throttle from an idle is a neck snapping experience compared with my street tires that just screamed for mercy. On a prepped track, with some heat in the tires and appropriate PSI, these tires should hook exceptionally well.

Combining the good traction with a very civilized ride and low noise levels make these new Nittos a tire that I would highly recommend.

Reporting back with more use on these. Super impressed! Car is now on E85 14psi. Went out to Mexico yesterday with a bunch of friends and these hooked 100% on 2nd gear rolls.

Even had a dig race against a 650hp 427 C6 and whacked his ass. Had to pedal in 1st, but they still did very well. Spin was easy to control.

Still have one more pulley size to go down, but Im betting these tires will handle it no problem.

Can you post a picture of the tire mounted on the 10” wheel face. Just curious how much bulge there is. I tried running a 305/35/19 MT ET SS on the 10” and it was way wider then the 305/35/19 nitto nt555g2 I took off.
