New Mach 1 Owner question

Hello all-
Not new to the forums but new to Mach 1 ownership. I have a couple questions.

1. Is the car supposed to chime whenever the drivers side door is open?

2. has anyone had their auto start just stop working? Both app and key fob. I have gone through every setting and changed the fib batteries multiple times. Everything works BUT the auto start.

I would assume the door would only chime if say the headlights were on or something. Normally it should not chime.

As far as remote start goes (assuming you mean that and not auto start) then this would be what to check:

Tap Lock button on fob the double tap remote start button

When S550 batteries run down, weird electric issues result that don't seem at all related to a low battery. You might want to check your battery. Door chime shouldn't operate unless ignition is on.

The auto start and remote start both are not working. Lights are off but car chimes whenever drivers side door is open and not the passenger. Car is an automatic and new. Just trying to figure it out, dealer can’t look at it for a few weeks.

The manual gear box gods are punishing you for getting an automatic Maybe disconnect and reconnect the battery?

Haha. First automatic mustang. I miss the manual but really liking the A10.

Only reason I asked is manuals dont have the option for obvious reasons haha.

I checked the battery while off. Showing 11.2 volts. Think I may have found the issue. Sent my son to pick up a new battery.

Battery was part of it. Other part was wm shifter not setting perfect. Car is back to 100%. Thanks all
