Are those OEM pony caps?I bought a setup of the 19x10 squared M1HP for my 11 GT that I am building up for some track duty. I currently have 295/30/R19s on them with plenty of room to spare. If 295/35/R19 was offered in these specific tires I would have gone with that. I've had them out on track a few times so far and they felt smooth, no vibrations at speed.
Yes they are. Leftover from some old S550 PP1 wheels I had.Are those OEM pony caps?
sorry to be off topic, but I'm still waiting for your review of the RP1 pads lolYes they are. Leftover from some old S550 PP1 wheels I had.
How are those new Continentals on track?Yes they are. Leftover from some old S550 PP1 wheels I had.
Also adding thanks for the photos as well.here you go
The platinum were a little too bright for my liking at some angles so I powder coated them satin black. I would go with the graphite LMR so youāre not stuck with WRās center caps. Also adding thanks for the photos as well.
Iām pretty set on this style of wheel but Iām torn if I like the Wheel Replicaās Platinum or LMRās Graphite on my Kona Blue. I think the Graphite would be a little less in your face as the Platinum, but at the same time platinum would contrast nicely with a dark color like mine. would love to get others input on this
Thanks, I looked at more pictures I could find online and I agree they look oddly bright in some pics, almost aluminum foil-y. They look good on your Grabber Blue though. Iāll stick with the SVE. I am very happy with the Continentals. In my opinion, they are an excellent "lapping" tire for the S197 and S550. The tire is purposed to be an endurance tire, which means you are not going to set any lap records and will probably be about 1 second slower when fresh, and probably 3 seconds slower after they heat cycle a bit compared to a Cup 2 tire. They are not as snappy as a Cup 2, but are very predictable an consistent - and grip is available almost right away, no need to spend a lot of time getting heat into the tires - a lap will do it.How are those new Continentals on track?
I just ordered a set of the SVE CFX wheels. This picture and the one in Cyber Orange did it for me. Canāt wait to get them! Not much talk about the GT500 replicas in this thread, but I recently saw some on an Eruption Green car. Looked great! Black wheels always look better in person than in pics.
You will love them. I get compliments all the time.I just ordered a set of the SVE CFX wheels. This picture and the one in Cyber Orange did it for me. Canāt wait to get them!
