Please forgive my ignorance on this subject. New to the Mustang world. What are the advantages and reasoning for replacing a full size car battery with a motorcycle sized battery and what does the catch can provide? Educate me :)

Save weight and keep oil vapors and residue out of your engine, the catch can provides a place to accumulate and drain the residue.

Guess I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around using a motorcycle battery in place of a car battery and it being reliable. Nothing negative, just goes against conventional wisdom.

Normally you would be correct if your talking about a daily driven car in all 4 seasons. Smaller battery wouldn't be reliable at all. However some of us arnt daily driving our cars and are looking for weight savings. In those situations they are reliable.
