All bets are off if they do a "limited" run of 2015s as a 50th Anniversary car....Blue badges--sure, possibly to distinguish the car from the later 16/17s....

And would Jim Owens lie about something like this...dang right he would while info is on hold- just doing his job.

More speculation-- do they go the current white or a throwback to 65 with Wimbledon White/Blue Stripes if they do a limited run 50th edition*???

Who knows but great speculation, thanks for reminding...guess were gonna find out soon.

* damn--if they do that...this car is gonna cost me as Non-ADM is not gonna be a possibility...

I think they could even add the rear quarter windows using the three layers of glass...but instead of chrome surrounds use aluminum or black chrome finish.

There were blue GT350's available in 1965 as well and the color looked very close to Liquid Blue...

All '65's were white, blue didn't come until '66.
That's correct all GT350's in 1965 were Wimbledon White although standard 1965 mustangs were available in the Guardsmans Blue. In 1966 the GT350 was offered in Guardsman Blue. All the excitement about Liquid Blue is nuts since it has been available since 1964 AKA Guardsmans Blue.

While similar in blue shades, Guardsman Blue from the 60's is a simple enamel paint while Liquid Blue is a very special multi-layer show car paint. I think a lot of the excitement stems from the fact that you can't get it!

True what you say. I was at the New York Auto Show last week and got to see the Liquid Blue GT350 in person. I prefer Guardsman Blue over the Liquid Blue.

Hoping for VIR Track times as they've been flogging the car around the track and have videos out now of it. Would love to see how close it is to the C7Z.

C7Z is in another category altogether. C7 is a fair comparison and a benchmark according to Ford but C7Z comparisons are downright stupid to be honest. No offense meant.
