C7Z is in another category altogether. C7 is a fair comparison and a benchmark according to Ford but C7Z comparisons are downright stupid to be honest. No offense meant.
Maybe compare CZ7 times after 8 laps and the CZ7 is in limp mode from heat soak.

I don't think it'll be that far off. This car is leaps and bounds ahead of the boss 302 and from the real world results I've been seeing, the boss 302 sits right with the C7 and not far off the Z28. I believe R&T had pobst test the 302 along side the GTR and Z28 at barber and the 302 with brake pads and good tires was two seconds behind the Z28. Lot of people are going to be shocked by what the 350R can accomplish.

Said to be 3200lbs with over 520 HP also. C6Z with a drag radial alone can go high 10's at 123-125 area in the quarter making 505 HP. How mad are hellcat owners going to be when a GT350R can hang doors with them on the highway or drag racing....in a road race car.

I seriously doubt anything close to 3,200lbs. Modded GT's are still in the 3,4xxlb range. The GT350 still comes with most of the equipment as a GT so it won't weigh much less. The Hellcat would still be a king of highway pulls though a skilled GT350 driver would get out front early due to grip.

I'm not so sure about that. Countless videos of them going 125-127 stock with nothing done in an average condition (not MIR or ATCO in -3500 DA) and that won't be a far fetched effort for a 350 I believe. It'll be light, we know that, it'll be over 520HP as well. I'm think at least 540-550 is my guess. My boss with 400whp has been 11.98 at 115.52 with only a drag radial. Guys making 480-490whp in GT's are going 10.80's at 125-127. It'll be a contender, you watch.

Ford isn't playing any games. They're anxiously awaiting the responses from internet trolls with the " well that cars junk it can only turn, can't keep up with my supercharger catfish trailer park camaro" and ford will be glad to say "oh really, check this out".

Running that RWHP are they really pulling that kind of MPH in the quarter? That seems like crazy MPH for that RWHP range.

It's all over the place. Full bolt on cars with CJ intakes and fuel are running very well. Lot of guys will fill bolt on Boss 302's running 10.90's as well. A good set up car will go well. You also see guys with Paxton's and 275 kumho sams club special tires running 11.90's at 123.

That would be cool. I know people that are ready to go pay right now with cash.

The closest benchmark on those performance expectations would be the 2013 RWD Ferrari California.

4.3-liter NA V-8 Flat Plane Crank, rated at 483 hp and 372 lb-ft. Well over 100Bhp per liter screaming with a 9000RPM redline.

The California will launch itself in under 3.5 seconds to 60 mph and under 11.9 second to a quarter at 117.4 mph on a Magneride suspension

It has a Curb weight of 3916 lbs. a 47/53 weight distribution. DCT auto and a narrower contact patch for the wheels/tires.

Considering the GT350 is lighter, has wider tires, more horsepower and more torque...a Magneride suspension and shorter gearing....

Its safe to say it should drop better performance numbers all around.

The EPA on the Ferarri was only 13/19. So the GT30 might be better if the lighter weight is significant enough.

Me thinks.... the C7Z's and the Hell-Kitties will have a Pony car screaming over 8200RPM's right up its rear if they're not already seeing the tail end of it.

Pretty sure the California 4.3 v8 uses DI
the old F430 would be a better comparision since it does not have DI

That's a mid engine format. The California is a front engine layout. And the displacement alone on the GT350 should make up for the DI with added HP and Torque.

As far as a "tit for tat" benchmark... The Cali is the closest bet.
