Did you install a vacuum block? Mind if i ask where you mounted it? Do you have a hobbs switch?
I did not initially install a pressure switch to activate the pumps. I will in the future though as I have since taken the car back and turned it up. Ended up maxing out the two 450's on 60psi base pressure, so luckily I had a 3rd pump already in the hat. Just needed to plug it in. After we dynoed it with the third pump I then ran out of injector. Ended up making 910 on 16lbs letting out early because of the lean issue. I'll be getting ID1700s and finally dialing it all in safely.

Wozah!!
Yet another 9 second Hellion car I bet.
Very Nice and congratulations.
I assume those number are still on the mustang dyno so likely north of 1000 on dynojet?

May not be a bad idea to start planning sleeved short block build.
Hopefully you can take the stock block out intact and sell to recoup cost.......and not just use it as very cool table.
lol

Thanks! Yes all the numbers are on a Mustang dyno. I'm definitely going to rock out this setup for as long as it holds. I'm not a weekend warrior so we'll see. I'll cross the built motor phase when it gets here. Lol

Very nice build! :headbang: What is your injectors cycle duty at on e85 making 1000hp? I never would of thought the 1000 ID's would be enough injector for that on e85 especially on 5.0 displacement. Also how big do you plan to go with your build wouldn't the 1300's be enough fuel for whatever you plan to throw at the stock block & save some coin while doing it?
These little motors are amazing, I would think lifting the heads would happen before this power level without headstuds. Just Awesome nevertheless

I'm not sure what the duty cycle was but it was above the safe 85% I like. I'm sure ID1300 would be plenty but at the price I've been quoting there isn't much of a difference between the two. I don't want to do this again in the future when I have a built shortblock.

Nice build! That is insane! I love the power and torque that thing puts out. Crazy. :D
Good job.

amhauke, what do you have your Launch PSI set at? How about your boost for Stage 1? I have both of mine set on 0 and operating off of wastegate. Do you use any other features on your BL? Are you running a 9lb spring or a combo of 2 springs to get 9psi?

I'm in the process of breaking in my new sleeved/forged MPR longblock, just going off of wg pressure/7psi for the first few hundred miles. I noticed a 3psi variance from my spring to what the BL registers as well. Can't wait to turn it up!

I have my launch PSI set a 0 and first stage gate pressure set at 0 if I want to run wastegate only. I'm able to go all the way up to 10 on gate pressure for my controller. 5 was 13lbs and 10 was 16lbs. I haven't messed with ramping any boost in yet as I just got my weld drag pack a couple days ago and have been toying around on street tires. I'm running a 9lb wastegate spring. That spring is green. We saw 10.3 pounds on wastegate with that spring. I'll be hooking up a switch in the future for the scramble/force feature. I can tell you what your 3psi difference is because I had the same issue. Make sure the boost reference for the controller is reading manifold pressure not turbo compressor. pressure.
