New Headlights Installed

I installed Raxiom LED Headlights with black Housings and smoked Lens about 3 weeks ago. Plug n play, easy install. Love the look and improved lighting at night. I kept my old headlights and had them sanded and cleared bc they were looking rough.

Nice! Plug and play is always a good thing!! Thank god my tail lights were like that. I've been looking at these; they are pricey but they bring a different look to the vehicle for sure.

- Even with the smoked housing, you IMPROVED night time lighting?
- How did you adjust the beams?

Right. Other than a color temperature change, there’s never any true data on improved/reduced forward lighting. I was in the automotive lighting field for 16 years. Only 1% of aftermarket offerings actually improved the forward lighting lumens and properly focused this light. OEM design is usually the most effective in MOST applications.

There is a vertical adjustment in each headlight that's easy to reach with a Phillips head screwdriver

I dig them, just personally don't want to worry about fogging/yellowing/aftermarket light issues

That's why I kept my old ones which look brand new now, just in case. The same with my tail lights.

They are brighter, if I had to guess I would estimate 20% increase over my stock headlights. Wish I knew someone with a luminance meter to compare now lol
