Time consuming for sure but the end result is great. Some may argue that its not worth the time to do all that but different strokes for different folks
Yes I too applied RTV at those areas but also along the bottom where the rear main seal plate meets the oil pan. I did not cut the brown rope seal short, just flush to where it ends but I also applied some RTV in the end of the channels.
I had a slow leak at my rear main seal and I finally got around to replacing it, the RPM sensor, the pulse wheel and also replaced my pilot bearing. It was not fun having to pull the trans again but if you seen my old posts I'm pretty good at doing it 😅
Also if anyone else is attempting to do this and they have the same set up as I do (Gen 2 coyote with VMP Odin) you will need to cut the little tabs off the top area of the valve covers first and then powder coat them and then install them. I forgot about this when I initially installed the...
I purchased them from summit racing, at the time they were $270 for the pair. I had them powder coated here by a local shop.

I work on cars for a living and in 18 years of turning wrenches I've never had to put anywhere near 125grams of weight on a new tire and a new rim. (Unless there like 37s on a Jeep) What are the last 4 digits of the DOT #s on your tires? I suspect high road force on your tires. I just mounted...
They are brighter, if I had to guess I would estimate 20% increase over my stock headlights. Wish I knew someone with a luminance meter to compare now lol
VMP Odin on my car @ 11 psi using Nitto NT555 R2 305/35 R19 106W. No traction in first at WOT ( MT82 with 3.73s) 2nd hooks 80% of the time compared to 50% of the time with Michelin Pilot super sports or 4s's
Fedex delivered and so did I. I mounted these babies tonight with new rubber in the rear. Front tires have 600 miles on them. No more front wheel spacers for me. OEM center caps fit perfect. Driver left front wheel didn't need any wheel weights. I Apologize my ride is so dirty, it's been raining...
