Am I the only one ready for this fad to pass ?
*shrug* I think you could argue many styling icons started as fads that didn't pass.

Update. The third bolt closest to the outside of the wheel for the ZL1 addon winglets does not fit the 2019 GT350. Ford must’ve changed the bolt.
I have a 2016 and the bolt on the outside went in awkwardly. I think I even crossthreaded one side and said f it... it's going in at this point.

It is actually a smaller in diameter bolt. I went to several hardware stores and then a Ford dealer that told me about the automotive fastener store. They didn't have an exact match, but it had the same threading and diameter so it worked.

Some will say it is styling (that's me) like stripes and others may say it works by adding just a little more down force to the nose. So unless you want to live in a Fascist state I say live and let live. But I get your point, I see beautiful cars that have been lowered, repainted to bright pink, spinning wheels and that is just not my taste. So guess what - I don't do that to my car!

i run the full SBS splitter setup on my car for the base gt350.its textured ABS plastic one one side. The other side is smooth, but isn't as resilient to scratches. I have that portion mounted down.

A little off topic, what wheels are those ?
And what size? They look aggressive! Just the right amount Of poke outside the fenders.

Project 6GR Seven wheels in R-spec sizes and offsets. The tires look stretched because they're still the factory GT350 Pilot SS 295/305 setup currently. Put these wheels on the car with only about 2500 miles on it and didn't want to just throw the tires away. I'll be stepping up to wider spec MP4S most likely in a 305/325 configuration. I also didn't like the way the red logo clashed against the orange on the car so went back to the original Ford centercaps and they look great.

Here's another good shot of them from behind and also a better shot of the rear spats and side splitters from the SBS splitter kit.

Dude, they look phenomenal!!! The stretched tires don’t look bad at all man. The PS 4s will look good as well.
I agree, red center caps would have not looked good on your ride. The rear side splitters look good!!

I bought the replica wheel and tire package from LMR for my R. But those wheels don’t come in R spec sizes and offsets.
Im rethinking my decision and wondering if I should return the LMR tire and wheel package and get the project 6R wheels in the correct R spec.

Still have the LMR wheels and tire package sitting in my basement in the boxes!

Can you return wheels that already have tires mounted?
It’s a package offered by LMR so I’m assuming I’ll be able to return them even though the tires have been mounted.

Im going to look into it tonight.

EDIT. Just found out they can be returned. Will cost my about $200 bucks to ship them back.
Gonna search the net and see what kind of pricing I can get on the Project 6GR wheels by themselves and with a tire package.
