New filter suggestion for JLT intake?

I'm at 10k miles and either need to clean or replace the filter.
Any suggestions for anything other than K&N before I buy a cleaning kit this weekend?

Youll need a replacement from JLT, the mesh in the intake is very necessary to smooth out the the MAF signal.

shampoo.. and water and let it sit in the sun after you blow a little air into it.. not hard though or youll break the mesh.

Just buy the cleaning kit from JLT. Has enough to do a ton of cleanings

I looked at the kit, and it comes with oil. An oiled filter is a no-no on the Coyote right?

The JLT filter is an oiled filter. Oil or oiless doesn't matter on the Coyote, what matters is oiling a filter that is meant to be oiled vs keeping a filter that is meant to be dry, dry.

ive got several cleaning kits and k&n oil from past projects.

Our S&B cleaning kits come with enough oil and cleaning solution to clean this sized filter at least 3-4 times. Included in the kit from us is a chart for all of our specific filters for proper amount of oil to use.

Nothing wrong with using oiled filters as long as you follow the correct amount of oil needed!
