New Exhaust install - throwing codes

MAPerformance came though and got my exhaust to me yesterday. I installed in last night, but it's throwing 2 codes. 1 was for the secondary O2 sensor and the other i forgot but had DTS in the description.

Anyone else come across this problem and able to solve it?

It's an MAPerformance turbo back with Hi flow cat and resonators. The sound is amazing. Unbelievebly deep. No video can properly show the sound quality of this exhaust. Absolutley no rasp. Deep when idling but not annoying. mild with no percieveable drone while cruising at 65 and deep and mean when you open the throttle. I wanted deep and respectable, weight savings, and better exhaust flow, without being obnixiously loud. This was the the perfect fit.

Congrats man! I have no help to offer, but I'm looking at the same setup. So turboback = downpipe + catback? How'd you decide resonators vs no resonators?

Secondary O2 code isn't an issue. The code or the sensor can be disabled without any issues. This can be updated in your tune file.

Might be an issue when you go in for emissions, but that's it. Disabling the code/sensor will cause it to come up as "Not Ready" or something similar when scanned. Don't know how Texas does it, but some states won't allow a single not ready response and others will allow one or two.

edit: Whoops, this is what I get for seeing the words full exhaust and O2 code and just assuming he was catless.

Asked a number of questions to my sales rep, Ryan. Told him what i wanted and he easily came up with that solution. As far as the resonators, I asked him which was quieter while preserviing the deep tone. So resonators it is! Dont get me wrong, it's not quiet just 1 was quieter than the other. My main focus also was for it not to sounds raspy.

You have an exhaust leak. No doubt about it.

Hmmm. Ok i can check the DP to turbo

Look between the turbo and DP. That is the most common place for this type of code. If the O2 sensor is reading like that, it usually means the leak is there.

P.S. If you look at your gasket and see smudge marks or heat marks going off to the edge, that is also a tell tale.

Didn't reuse the donut gasket as the maperformance one came with a flat one between the DP and turbo. Perhaps some gasket seal?

I hate to say this, but I ended up using the stock donut because I could not for the life of me and 2 other people get this thing to line up with that flat one.

Ah ok. did you do anything special to make it fit? Just noob question since both surfaces are flat.

It fits great and tightens well enough to do it by yourself. Also you may just need to snug up the bolts the way you have em now. 17mm I think.

I'm glad I read this. I believe I have the same code coming up, is it P0141?

I assumed I was getting an o2 error code because of all the oil getting past my turbo coating the o2 sensors (my car has the smoking issue, BAD) But I do have an exhaust leak between the turbo and downpipe that I haven't been able to get rid of.

Code is gone! Silly me. I should have double checked the plugs. The upper one was disconnected. Plugged it in and reset ECU with Cobb Tuner and voila! That code is gone. Doesn't seem to be smoking anymore either. So all is well
