Ok. Good to know. Sad part is, I personally feel that retail orders should have been made first. Actual customers who want one and ordered one. Unfortunately that isn't how it works. I ordered mine Jan 13th!
Thats how it worked upon reopening after covid....

That only works with Retail (Customer) orders and not Stock (Dealer) orders, it is for USA orders only, it doesn't work for Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico or WDMO orders retail or stock.
Mine is class order class 80 , VIN 1FA6P8SJXM5502779. Shows "In production" although I'd been told it would be produced on the 5th. After it's built, then off to Penske for the stripes and current estimated arrival at dealer is N/A.

These dealers are nuts..... Very few that you can even try to negotiate with. There is a 2020 sitting for like 45k over and they won't budge. Lots of them won't budge off of 10K over. Gues they would rather sit on them and hope someone comes along rather than sell to firm buyer at msrp.

That’s what I found At multiple places. 10 over was the best “deal” so to speak

If you find a dealer that will order one for MSRP or $5k over, you can try to use that as leverage. That is what I did when people told me $10k over was the best that they could do.

Lots of cars, including 2020's, sitting at $10k over for base cars and $15k - $20k for CFTP cars. Stupid dealers but they never change.

They're not stupid, people are paying. And the market is helping to drive that price right now. at 10-20k adm right now they're moving. Now ill agree 45-70 is a little aggressive.

Exactly, I found a 2020 the other day and he's at like 20 above and I just laughed. He claimed they sell more of them than anyone and I was like well then why is that one still there then especially when you have a buyer right here.

Lots of the dealers won't even talk to me if I'm below 10k over. Guess I'll wait.

I've got my name on one for msrp, but won't be done till sept/Oct so trying to find one now. If it was local I'd go up a bit over msrp just so I wouldn't have to pay for a flight or to have it shipped, but 10 over is nuts.

Guess people have more money than sense?

It’s all relative, 10k is pocket change for some . Your money spend as you wish.

So just a heads up for you guys with cars on order, I've had a Mach 1 on order for over 3 months with an "01" order priority code that supposedly means Ford has to build your car right now, but my production date of Aug 23 hasn't budged since May and dealer stock orders are being shipped ahead of it. Hard to figure out any logic in how Ford is scheduling these orders now.
