Good catch Mspeedster. I was going off of info I was given but your perspective makes sense...
Correct, I was misinformed . . that's date stamped for panel production.
Use the Ford website's people have referred to and you'll get the exact date!

^^^^^ now all that's left to do is replace that cheap paper filter with a nice blue Airaid dry filter and some blue Boss 302 valve covers.

You will find those foam insert very practical, just wouldn't leave home without it.
Agreed especially on the R's! They are a must.

I decided to install my Uniden LRD950 into the GT350 with a mirror mount and mirror tap. Overall, a pretty easy install. I have two LRD950's and a Escort Max 360 but one of the LRD950's was removed from a recently sold vehicle, so I decided to use it instead of swapping in the Max 360. These detectors are great and it saved my ass yesterday when I was going a bit faster than I should have been on a rural road when I got a KA hit. Sure enough, about 45 seconds later I passed a CHP in an Explorer going the opposite direction. Whew because I was all alone and would have been busted for sure. That was my motivation to get it installed TODAY! :)

Crappy pics because I'm stuck in the garage due to a fairly nasty storm here in Cali.

Well my car has the poorly installed front splitter. Finally got around to looking at it closely and the dealership didn't even install the fasteners which go in at a 45 degree angle. It's not seated in the bumper cover properly either.

I have not completed my buyers survey, so I emailed the sales guy at the Texas dealership, gave him all of the details, sent him a link to he video and told them they need to make it right. I said the easiest fix is to just send me a new splitter so that I get all of the hardware, and I have a spare for later! :)

It's sad when people don't do their job right or don't take pride in their work.

Passed 330 miles today - loving it!

I installed my own splitter, and it was so much fun I did it twice. Let me know if you need a hand, more than willing to help.

Aguilar, there's PLENTY of nationwide financial institutions to select from. If your dealer can't find an aggressive loan package from his lest of vendors that will finance you, you're dealing with the wrong dealer. If anything, get your own financing and walk into the dealer (or Fed Ex) a check. No reason anyone should discriminate based on address.
I am buying a gt350 from out of state. The dealer shouldn't care, if anything it is easier to sell to someone who has cash in hand or outside financing. If you are buying out of state, you can just close your loan at the bank and they will place a lien on the title when they mail the dealer the check.

I'm not normally someone who will finance something, but ultimately I did have to finance 25k, but with rates at 2.9 it wasn't a big deal.

Thanks man. I appreciate that. Gilmer Ford in Texas is standing behind their commitment to their customers. They ordered a new splitter today from Ford and they'll ship it to me as soon as it arrives. They were extremely apologetic and said they will ensure this doesn't happen to future customers. I'm pretty sure the tech who did the PDI on my car originally will get a bit of an ass chewing!

None the less, all I really need is the hardware. That will give me an extra splitter to use down the road!

Thanks and done. I totally forgot about that!

I didn't do anything to the GT350 today. I had to install an OEM tow hitch plus an OEM harness on my 2015 Explorer Police Utility and pick up a rebuilt hydraulic cylinder for my drop deck trailer in the Roseville area. Got both things done and finished up on my day off.

Next weekend it will be Steeda 2-point brace and the jacking rails. I splurged for a new lowrider 2 ton jack and some fancy jack stands. :)
