Yeah I know... we talk tires ALL the time here.

I was headed home from a nice dinner this weekend when I must have run over a glass bottle. My driver's side rear tire got shredded.

So now I need to replace it. We all know the Mich's PSC2's are getting harder and harder to find.

I do like the tires... most of the time, but know there may be better options out there.

I do live in New England, so I do have to deal with rain. So most of the Nittos are out.

So what else do you recommend?

I faced the same issue and had ordered a set of replacement super sports 2 months ago and still have yet to receive them. Decided to upgrade to 20ā€ signatures as there are definitely more options with a 30 series tire. Good luck

I will counter that statement. Michelin's are good...damn good...but contrary to popular belief around these parts, they are not the end-all-be-all of tire options for us. The Continentals will give any pilot a run for it's money on the street. And for New England, guessing you want more of an A/S season tire, or at least something that's at least safe year round? Look at the Conti DWS tires.

I could not find the conti DWS tires in right sizes for my R, and I bought Cooper Zeons All seasons in 305 30 19 all around. They sit and look nice on stock R sizes, they would look even better on non R rims.
But yes, if you can do Conti's go there first. I have them on my BMW and they are some of the best tires I had. Ever.

Yeah not going 20" on this car. I think the 19" look perfect.

Did you run on that flat for a time?
Just asking as that wheel may have issues.

Nope. As soon as it hit 19lbs, I stopped pulled out the inflater kit and limped it home. Got home with 16lbs in it. Now however, it is quite dead.

It got me home.

Easy to use. With smaller damage, it would have done better.

The biggest gripe I have is lack of Michelins and other tires in the 35 sizing.. this car is low enough as it is.... I went with the MPSS from the 2015-2018 model year for the non-R 350. They work very well as an all-summer tire. If you are looking to drive yours into the cold months you should look at the Michelin AS model, although I am not sure if they make that in a 35

MPSS are not in stock anywhere that I can find. Those were gonna be my backups.

And nope, no winter driving for this GT350.

I ordered my MPSS from Tire Rack.com in January and finally got them in April. Haven't heard anything official that they are discontinued.. maybe covid is playing into this?

You canā€™t get the rear 305/35 r19 super sports. I called all over the place. Michelin says that they wonā€™t have any available till December.

Yeah I found four of them. Ended up just calling Tire Rack. Told them that I could wait a few days and they pulled inventory from other warehouses.

So a full set of rears for now, and another set when those are gone.

All in all not bad 370 bucks a pop, free shipping
