There's enough room to set the depth however you want. For an up close look at them look at the Amazon link that Rubedog posted. I think they look great and have gotten plenty of compliments on them since putting them on.

Rust is easily visible; the exhaust is eight days old. Magnaflow's tips stay beautiful.

Looks like 409 stainless. 304 is much better.

They claim 100% 304 in all the adds but I havent talked to Borla directly. Corsa has black tips that are similar to Magnaflow that slip on so I'll probably go that route if I can get them separately.

It won't rust but it will stain. While not the worst, it's no 316 either.

What are those rectangular mufflers and what is the plate on the bottom that looks welded back on?

the mufflers are spintech race series and the plate is welded on by spintech at the factory. Just a name tag. click the link between the pics, they sound great
