Hello all, so I bought my 2015 economist just over a month ago and every weekend since I've bought it the battery dies. Now other than led lights the car is stick other than my obd ultra gauge. So I have also changed the settings of the gauge to shut off with the car but the obd stays on after the car is off. Other than possible drain through the port can anyone think of a possible fix for this issue? I would take it to the dealer but my service adviser told me that if I did I would lose my gps, I did the activation method. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. I even have a brand new battery in the car from Autozone . Other weird part is that the car is fine during the week, it just dies on the weekends.

Did you have this problem before installing the new battery?
Have you hooked up an ammeter and checked for a parasitic drain?
Have you disconnected the obd ultra gauge and still experienced the same problem?

Ultra gauge is now unhooked. Started to perform the parasitic test last night will be doing it again. Ran the gauge on my old car for years with no issue. Read it could be a bad diode in the alternator too. And yes the old battery went bad had to replace it after my first eeek of ownership

did a voltage draw test, found my car is drawing just over 3 amps. started pulling fuses and found that the problem fuse circuit is number 24, which is the voltage quality module, not sure what it is, but when i pull it, it goes from drawing over 3 amps to going down to .65 amps.

Maybe that's why the car was traded in.

P.s. I Googled it, and the voltage quality module provides consistent voltage to powered accessories with the engine off (e.g. radio)
