Hi all,
I posted this request on the Canada forum thread. Thought I would repost to our neighbours down south and hit a bigger audience.
I've been having some issues somewhere in the drive train. The techs at the local Ford dealership will not pursue further investigation until the shifter is back to OEM standard parts.
5 years ago I replaced the bushing with a BlowFish shifter bracket. Along the way the old shifter bushing grew legs and walked away from the box I had it stored in. The only way to get one of these bushings is to purchase a complete new shifter from Ford, p/n FR3Z7210E approx. $640 dealer price.
All this just to start trouble shooting.
I've had no luck with Ebay (there is used one for sale but the seller will not ship to Canada), Craigslist or local wreckers ( seems most people who wreck their Mustangs drive A/T).
Does anyone that has moded their shifter have the original bushing they would want to sell to me?
