Hey everyone, I'll just get right into it. As I was driving my 2015 ecoboost one morning I noticed that the AC isn't giving out cool air. I knew something was wrong but I said I'll deal with it later. I came to drive it about 10 hours later and suddenly I noticed that my BOV (Boomba racing) isn't making turbo noises anymore and the noise is suddenly coming from my Air Intake. I noticed this because the noise my turbo makes is the "ppshhhh" sound and now suddenly I'm hearing the "whistle" turbo sound instead and it's now coming from the Intake not the BOV. I drove the car the next day and I noticed that the car was overheating and the temperature gauge was on max. I took it straight to a mechanic and it turns out the fan stopped working and he told me something was wrong with the compressor coil. He replaced the coil for me after a day and the AC started working again and the turbo sound went back to normal, but as I drove it again in about 30 mins the same problem came back. (Fan/AC stopped working and the sound started to come from the air intake). I took it back to him and he spend another 3 days on it and he told me something was making the wires trip which in turn made the AC, compressor and turbo stop working but he couldn't figure out what was the cause. I took the car home and the same thing happened on the way back home; AC was working fine in the beginning then suddenly stopped giving out cold air and the turbo sound was replaced with the intake sound and the car slowly started to overheat. Note: This was a random mechanic who didn't seem to have experience with a mustang. Also I can't take my car to my local ford dealer because I bought my car from the US and parts are different from our local mustangs so the don't deal with exported cars. Does anybody know what's wrong? And help would be appreciated. Here are some videos: This is how the turbo sounds normally: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yahpgma1afsvxtv/WhatsApp Video 2018-06-14 at 5.24.32 PM.mp4?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/xi0ygp114elhn69/WhatsApp Video 2018-06-14 at 5.24.32 PM(1).mp4?dl=0 And here is how the sound changed from the turbo to the air-intake: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ug50jipidf78mwr/WhatsApp Video 2018-06-14 at 5.24.32 PM(2).mp4?dl=0

AC blowing up is pretty common. As for the BOV...that doesn't sound right at all. The Boomba shouldn't be a flutter as far as I'm aware. Put the factory bypass valve back on if you can and see what happens.

That's what another person suggested on the ecoboost forums. I'll try removing the BOV. As for the AC blowing up do you know the cause or solution for it?
Thank you.

Your evaporator core is leaking. He put more freon in it so it worked for a while until it leaked out again.
Big thread here

Thanks for the thread! sounds like a mess :s
I noticed however all the people having problems with it only face problems with AC not giving out cool air and non of them mentioned their cars overheating. Could it be that I'm facing another problem or is the car overheating (and fan not working) just another symptom of the evaporator core not functioning properly?
