I'm not quite ready to mess with the engine on my 2016 Mustang as I was with my 5th Gen Camaros... Mostly because of this being more of a new engine utilized in a Mustang and warranty.

That being said, I am interested in the Boomba Racing blow off adapter and the TurboSmart blow off valve.

The concerning factor of the two is that with the Boomba, it will be slightly annoying with the ECU controlling the boost and not by driver acceleration. BUT, it's warranty friendly.

The TurboSmart blow off valve is what I really want, but stripping of the wires and etc... I'm not entirely certain and comfortable for that matter regarding warranty.

I want to keep my car as warranty friendly for awhile.

You don't strip the wires to install the Turbo Smart BOV. All you have to do is pull back the fabric covering the wires and even that doesn't require any cutting so you could easily take it off and put stock back on without any signs

Even though Boomba makes some nice looking products, I wouldn't spend the money on the BOV adapter. The same effect can be had from unplugging the recirculation hose from the intake and putting a plug in its place.

I advise you to just buy an intake, you can hear the bov through the intake or just unhook the recirculation line from the intake and cap the port on the intake tube with a chair leg cap, skip the adapter and the turbosmart bov. Unless you get a real bov setup then run HKS or Synapse SB or DV.

If you want BOV sound, just disconnect the factory recirculation hose and plug the intake as mentioned above.

Don't waste your money on bov adapter.

The TS valve needs no wire stripping but will require replacing the vacuum line with a piece of hose and a special tap. There latest model has a direct plug in resistor that connects to the disconnected plug end. Also the latest model has a much improved vacuum source.

EnFOURcer just posted the latest instructions that details it all...

I'd skip the Boomba adapter and as the others said just disconnect the recirculation hose or get a CIA with an open cone style filter which will make all kinds of good bov and turbo noises.

I appreciate all the feedback guys. Another member sold me one for 30 dollars. I've owned several 5th Gen Camaros. This is my first Mustang... Ever. I test drove all models and the the Ecoboost just intrigued me more for some reason...

I was going to go all mod crazy like my Camaros, but after realizing this is technically a new engine being utilized - I would rather wait and see around 10K miles on the reliability of my car engine to make sure there aren't any issues that can be blamed on me later.
