Seems somebody didn't read the update and might find themselves in TT1 because they haven't uploaded their forms to the NASA websiteNasa is simple.
U need to input 3 things.
Class where u wanna be
Your weight.
Your tire.
And he tells you
How much HP max you can have.
Then submit a dyno sheet with SAE5smoothing and calculate average max power. With the 8 top peaks. With 250rpm increments.
I.e. Lets say you top 400whp at 7000rpm
You work around this +-250rpm (like 6750rpm 397 6500@391 7250@398
) /8 =.your average power
Kinda joking, kinda not.
We can all thank this guy, who, very smartly read the rules, and then decided that there was some room for creative interpretation, so they went and did this. (I'll be honest, I would have done the same thing with enough money/time, they're just pulling throttle out)
There's nothing in the rules about torque, so, we'll skip past that.
Peak horsepower just happened to come at 3650, so they then counted the points leading up to, and beyond it, which gave them a really really low number. That perfectly flat HP curve at 5-7k is pretty easy to live in when they've got something like an automatic/sequential/torque convertor.
So now if you want to claim average, it's just your 10 highest points at like 50rpm increments... which for most of us Coyotes, is pretty much the same as your max hp.
