3000miles and a nail in the tire. I work in a industrial area so I knew this was going to happen at some time. Got it patch up now, but how long is this going to last? Hope this won't be a leaky tire.

Happened to me during our move to Idaho. TPMS called out 6 psi in the right rear at 11:30 PM, so we found a place to stay. Found a tire shop a half-mile away the next morning. He was kind enough to let me borrow a can of air to pump the tire and limp in. Patched in 30 minutes, and I haven't had to add air to it since.

Props to a great tire dealer!

I had a 1/2 inch chunk of metal in my rear driver tire, was patched, but while filling it with air a small bulge developed on the sidewall. Luckily the 275/40/19 Pirelli's are on close out.

Try 500 miles on a brand new MPSS in 315/35/20 and have it irreparable and no tires in stock anywhere. That was GREAT. Stupid nails.

The dealership ran over a bolt in the original GT PP P-Zeros, patched it up, no problems for the next 8k (when I replaced them.)

Now I have MPSSs and I picked up a self-tapping screw in my rear 295/35.. patched up, no problems thus far for 500 miles.
