So I have a N2MB WOT Box coming it tomorrow afternoon and would like to do the install shortly after it comes in. I have already talked to John over at N2MB to get the pin locations and numbers for the S550 mustangs. But the main reason I am posting this is to see if any of you guys have any past experience with these modules. Are there any tips or tricks to making the install easier? Or stuff that I need to watch out for during the install. Maybe this will end up helping some other S550 owners looking to install a 2-step module in their own car.

Are these for manual or automatic cars?
both, auto and manual will use the two step function

manuals have a no lift shift option as well

This is new to me, is this something that will be able to use with my accesport and tune + tune? And is this something a DD would benefit from? I'm not a racer or autocross guy, just stop light to stop light funness

it would benefit you if you want a two step to help build boost at the track

or if you want the no lift shift feature.

the no lift shift allows you to shift without taking foot off gas

Just be aware when you set up the the box you will need to get your tuner to disable the Cobb LC & FFS (manual trans only) in the tune ;)

Luckily I have an Automatic transmission so those options were not even available for me to have turned on. Thanks for your input though. I'm sure this will come in handy for someone with a manual transmission.

That's why I put the manual transmission portion =D. I've seen people put these in without letting tuners know and wonder why they are having a bad day hehehe.

Of course! I was simply agreeing with you. I can see how having both of these options could create an annoying problem.

the no lift shift does help to keep the boost higher between shifts with allowing for a quicker shift
