Some of you may have seen our post "Steps for Loading SYNC and MAP updates". We took the Shelby out for a ride today and wanted to report back on some of the changes to the MAP display. SYNC has changed but I wasn't able to pay attention to SYNC while driving. For now all I can say is SYNC has a new look. If I find any significant changes to SYNC I'll update this post. (Maybe someone will add to this post)
For the MAP display I really like the changes. I might have missed some of the features in the previous version and think they are part of the update. But using the MAP display while driving is now MUCH EASIER. Before when we headed out to a new location I would find myself asking my wife information that is now very easily viewable on the screen. I also understand that the map data was updated but I really didn't have problems with the old maps. I was thinking having the most up date maps might help out at some point.
