    Lots of interesting things there.

Different brakes (GT500 brakes likely, to commonize), new rims, Sport Cup 2's on regular GT350 (didn't see sizing though), new spoiler (possibly GT500 as well, reduce parts in plant), and the chassis/suspension upgrades.

Perhaps the PP2 was closer to the GT350 than we thought, and some of this is differentiation.

Nope. GT500 has a larger caliper and larger diameter rotor than this latest update.

I said it before. The engineers that worked on the initial GT350 development program saw no benefit to a cross-drilled rotor and didn't want them. Their "boss" however did. Once he was no longer in a position to dictate form over function (in this specific case) the engineers won out. What you see now is the result. Question is...which will be less expensive to buy from Ford Parts and Service, given that the dimensions will remain the same, the old cross-drilled rotor or the new non-drilled?

    Its a nice update.

I wish the splitter was slightly larger so we could upgrade for less-than-R pricing.

You know what would have been a jaw dropper...and a real kick to where the sun don't shine would have been "A new stiffer and lightweight all aluminum chassis...blah blah blah."

Yep, I would have been trading up.

    Production doesn't start until 2019? That's weird.
edit: I guess delivery starts in early '19.

So, what does this mean for the "R"? Upgrades also? Obviously they aren't changing the Spoiler or front aero (or so I would assume since it's already different).

Hopefully it's a rolling update and the cross drilled rotors will just disappear in the future. Either way this may be a cheaper non drilled option compared to Girodisc.

I wonder if the new rotors are carbide coated. They don't look quite.......right.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek. I suspect that even with the deletion of the holes that the new rotor will be more expensive. We shall see.

Nice to see Ford is finally offering painted stripes.

It'll be very interesting to see what happens with the R.

Optional painted stripes...nice. this is gonna add a lot to the price of a 350. A loaded up base model will be over 65k. Makes me wonder how much the 500 gonna be

Would have been nice to see that Ford is now using an improved halfshaft design that no longer spews grease at the CV joints. They either did and don't want to bring it up or they did nothing. I suspect the latter.
