MY19 configurator is up

Just looking at the configuratior and pics on autotrader it looks like we dont get the stripes on the ebony leather seats like they do in the states...

The only USA Mustang I know of that had stripes on the seats was the 2015 Apollo special edition, it was a one off celebration vehicle that sold at auction for $230,000.

Obviously happy to stand corrected but I do not know of any 2018/2019 GT or Eco that has any stripes on the seats.

This is off the German configurator. It's a shame we don't have the option here because I really like it. But, then I really like the carbon interior pack which the American's can get but we can't.

Recaros are available for the GT as I’ve ordered them on my order

Id be tempted by them if I was getting an 18 as not bothered about heated/cooled seats but for £1,700 id need to know more. Are they much lighter and more comfortable than normal seats? Any other advantages apart from the look?

I don't think the point is comfort, more that they're much more heavily bolstered to keep you in place while cornering. The stock GT seats are very comfortable, but not very supportive laterally.

I’ve sat in the recaros and they’re lovely, very comfy and supportive... But I wouldn’t trade that for my heated/cooled seats. Plus they’re only available in black, and I really don’t like black interiors

They definitely a lot better than the normal seat, as the demonstrator at my local Ford dealers has them fitted would of thought they are going to be lighter without the heated and cooled parts fitted, don’t half look think you will find they are cheaper than that if you have ordered a option pack

It seems to be called Tan now. I've got it and it's lovely. You have to miss out on the padded centre console to get it. But by not ordering the boot speaker and the Ford nav you save enough to cover the increase in VED and some more. An ideal solution for me, and I would like to suggest people consider it.

I added some matching alcantara to lighten the interior a bit...
