now this is more interesting.

Beautiful thing, though I don't like what they did with the front grill, but I'd not complain, loving the wide body S550's that are proper wide bodies and not tacky stuck on kits.

interesting the fact they've changed the front bumper and grill to me is the best thing about it actually makes the car attractive now and if that came to the uk i'd deffo be interested in it!

also same as you love the return of proper wide body not tacky stick on "drift" shit reminds me of the old wide body astra's and pug's back in the 90's :)

205 DIMMA was a thing of beauty. :)

On the Super Snake, I just dislike only the upper grill, the rest is spot on. Though I suspect that car would be pretty wide on a UK road, guessing it must be several inches wider than regular car, particular with 345's shoe horned in the rear. :D

Real or not?
Gibbo205 this is the post with the time on I was showing you at the dyno.

New snake looks performance wise like it'll be a monster, and ford have a lot to go for with it, especially with the hellkitty and demon spinning away with whatever chevy have up their sleeves

I think the Yellow Ford Performance car at 5:06 is my favourite MY18, it looks so subtle but absolutely stunning. :)

Wow they look simply stunning in this video, pretty blown away with how great they look particular the yellow and orange ecoboost, as those new EB PP wheels are stunning, really like those.

Would love to see an orange fury with the new PP2 wheels and lowered.

Wow that shift lag on the auto is awful! My f type does it instantly at slow and off throttle speeds :(

My DSG waits a good second if light throttle, seems the sensible thing to do as your clearly in no rush and generally in such driving I leave it in auto anyway and let it do its own thing. Only go to paddles when I want to have fun or be in control.

As long as it shifts quick whilst at heavy throttle and snappy I am happy, all the videos I've watched of PDK, DSG even under heavy throttle there is a delay between the click to gear, but when behind the wheel in a PDK/DSG car it feels instant as in real life you do not witness that delay. When you watch a video you can micro-analyse everything at which point something may seem slower than it is. An example, when you accelerate in your car it feels quick, if you video it and then watch it back your thinking, well that don't seem anywhere near as quick. :)

I guess its just replicating a manual, if your just cruising your gear change is slow and un-rushed.

The F-type uses the ZF8 I believe and having driven a few cars with that box and though its quick, PDK/DCT was certainly a lot sharper. Its just setup to shift fast even on low throttle where there is no need, its not wrong just the way its setup. :)

I've owned cars with S-tronic, PDK and ZF8 gearboxes.

PDK was by far the best  both in feel and software, never appeared to be caught in the wrong gear, quicker to shift down, didn't just labour relying on torque going up hills.

S-Tronic was excellent on full throttle upshifts, but you could catch it out quite easily if you asked for a double shift quickly and were on throttle. No slower than a manual shift but then you are less inclined to get back on the throttle too quickly when manually shifting. Was also prone to relying too much on low down torque when I really wanted a bit more immediate oomph. Always shifted up at 1,900 when driving normally. Loved the burps for the first 2 months and then got fed up with them.

ZF8 was smoother, not as quick as either DSG/PDK, hardly slow though and quicker than a manual .. no point using the paddles as you could never remember what gear you were in. Stick it in Sport and forget. Effortless really. Hated the early morning 1st - 2nd slur - bump shift.

After all the above I eventually realized that no matter how quick or efficient any of the above are, I like 3 pedals  .. slower, clunkier, more difficult to master maybe, but for me infinitely more enjoyable ..

I would certainly have kept the cars above for much longer had they has Spanish gearboxes
