OK this is damn right sexy! Real life photos simply look far better on this car than the press photos, which really probably spells a good thing in the flesh.

.
That's probably best looking 18 ive seen, just get rid of the cheap looking spoiler and put a GT350 one on and might look alright

actually looks better in a good colour for once i do love that spoiler don't know why people seem to hate them so much.
front bumper is still an abortion though on the upside the shelby front end looks quite nice so there's hope yet.

You know our headers will be fucked up just like before they won't have re-engineered those just recycled the old ones.

If other manufacturers of aftermarket headers can get it right then it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Ford should be able to do it right in the first place.

At the end of the day it is just as easy, and takes just as much time, and money, to manufacturer correct ones, than bodged ones.

I remember getting the letter first time round. It was almost as if they'd forgotten they were having to move the steering wheel to the other side...

"you mean the UK drive with the wheel on the right side? Fuck... send these cars to that garage down the road they'll fix it."

Ford in 2015.

Also the forged MY18 wheels seem to really suit blue, magnetic and black cars. But look a but rubbish on the lighter colours.

I've optioned the forged wheels, my guess is they cost ÂŁ1000 additional, might be worth deleting them as that is ÂŁ1000 saved for a custom set of wheels of my own liking.
Is that the lightning or kona blue?

Get them, sell them on if you don’t like. Pretty sure there’ll be interest in those.

Owner of a GT 350 R drives an 2018 A10 and concludes it feels faster than his 350 R and a much better car than any 15-17 he drove:

Big result for Ford these MY18's being so quick out the box.

Seems pointless them continuing to sell the 350 then...unless the guy is wrong ;)

The real question will be, does one get a 2018 GT with the PPII or spend the extra on the 350. I personally think the front end of the 350 is killer looking and worth the extra pop.

I like what they've done with the down slope on the wrap around portion of the headlights now, but I wish they would have made the grille more angry looking.

350 is not about straight line performance and for a generation update to out perform the last gen halo car is not unusual.

350 even if its slower around a road course will still sell, its more unique (rarer), has FPC and is in my view the best looking Mustang ever produced.

The MY18 is faster for sure, Ford themselves only released one performance metric, 0-60 of sub 4s, thats quicker than 350R. Owners are getting their hands on them and in the real world its a quicker car, though also proven by the 12@@117 run which is quicker than any 350 and latest rumour is the MY18 has now run an 11.69@119 stock, but unconfirmed.

Ford's next big performance car will be GT500 which will no doubt be based on MY18.

that auto lag is terrible even when he says "its better under load" its not its still stupidly slow. not to mention he's wrong saying you wouldn't use paddles on the track no thats exactly the time you'd use paddles rather than letting it be auto.

He did not say that though.

He said this when there was a clear second delay when paddle shifting at light throttle loads and said generally in such a situation you would not be using the paddles at low speed or in town and just let the box do its own thing.

Later in the video when he is pushing it and enjoying it on the paddles he says this 10 speed will be a lot of fun at the track.

Its a big improvement over the outgoing A6, but still seems behind the European counterparts but saying that one needs to drive it, because even watching a PDK/M-DCT on video, the click of the paddle is never in sync with the gear change, on video there is what seems a delay but in real life using the delay you generally don't notice, the main thing is when you pull the paddle the revs stop going up.

He never said as such, see above and watch the video.

It has lag in normal mode and at light throttle inputs, that seems no different to any auto, DSG has a second delay when just cruising, they only need to be fast when at heavy throttle.
