So, I'm slowly gathering my parts to make my 2017 GT 6 speed quicker at the drag strip, while retaining as much of the street behaviour I currently enjoy

2019 intake manifold with 2018+ OEM airbox (and tune to make it all work)
4.09 gears
GT350 axles
BMR CB005, CB762H, TCA048
28" drag radials

I'm hoping to hit around 116-117 MPH and then try my best to launch it well. Probably gonna try using a clutch slipper, like Clutch Tamer

Anyone else hit those MPH with just the 18+ intake and running a short gear?

What rear gear are you running now? In addition to the consistency that you’re looking for, the Tamer will be helpful in preserving drivetrain parts. It is going to require some patience to dial it in and to find what rear shock settings, tire pressure and launch rpm the car likes. I’m still working through this myself now.

Picked up a 3.73 & 4.09 gear set last week on the cheap, so I'll have the choice of the 2
