My New Mustang

So after viewing my Mustang last Friday it's been registered and I'm collecting it today at 11.30am and I can't wait to have that experience of the first drive. Will upload photos later when I've mastered Photobucket.

Is that a standard reg plate or an aluminium one you have in it?

Ask as mine turned up without enough notice to get Ali ones made up so wondering how it will look with standard plates stuck to the bumper. That looks good as you have it!

Aluminium plate fitted by the dealer and its very good

Mines getting detailed and paint protected next week, think I'll ask him yo take the plates off to protect etc and then order some aluminium ones for him to fit when finished.

I can recommend the aluminium plates they look great and I am sending mine to Modurstang in Chipping Norton to have the Raptor underseal treatment then to a detailer in Coventry for a full exterior, wheels off, and interior ceramic protection. I think the car deserves the investment.

How much is the undersell treatment if you don't mind me asking?
Thinking about getting it done at the same time as changing the exhausts in a few months time as the exhausts have to come off for the treatment anyway

£450 plus VAT but well worth it

So it's my 4th day with the Mustang and it's fabulous being such a joy to drive and gets admiration from almost everyone. I think the driving position and seating comfort is excellent and the ride and handling is excellent. I'm glad I chose the auto because it suits my driving style and I love the low speed burble that only an auto can give. Still fiddling with all of the controls but will soon get to grips with it. Conclusion so far is what an investment which is what I class it as and no regrets at all.
