My Key Issue

No doubt it is operator error but I'm having a problem with My Key. Specifically, I can't create one because the software won't let me "Add My Key"

Also, the manual mentions putting the key into "the backup slot" but I have no eye deer where that is on the new vehicle.

Any help would be most appreciated.

The key slot is under the rubber insert in the cup holders

Should be a little tab for you to pull from. Isn't the easiest thing to get out but it's there

Oh cool, yeah, it's in there pretty tight, I think I used a butter knife to get it out one time
