So I've put this info and pics in other threads here, but I though I would dedicate for searching reasons one consolidated thread on my 20x10" rears wheels being widened 2" to. Firstly Weldcraft was great in getting my wheels done, and really happy if went with them. Despite my lack of reading their full description on sending wheels to them with a box big enough for them to ship back the widened wheels and not taking TPS sensors off they took care of everything in 2 weeks and didn't charge extra for new boxes and work. Really they did a nice job on the widening.
My wheels are Niche Vicenza 20x10 with 35 offset and adding the 2" (less 1/16" when they cut them) adds the extra to the inside so it really doesn't affect the Offset you currently have, but rather the backspacing which is flange mounting surface to inner wheel edge. Seems these cars have plenty of room and after mounting I think with a little finesse 12.5" or even 13" with a tire that doesn't bulge past the rim edge could fit as well. My tire section width once mounted was just under 13" and as you can see the tire fit well within the fender and could easily be spaced out 1/4" without contact of tire to fender lip.
Lowered on Eibach Sportlines springs.
Tire Nitto G2 315/30 20 (Nitto NT555 runs wider than most) measured 13" section width 12" tread, inner bead edge to edge 11.5"
My widened wheel outer edge to edge 12 3/4" inner mounting surface was 11 3/4" thought would be 12"??
With 20x10 35 offset widened to inside with Steeda mounts left more than 1/4" wheel to mount at closest point in the suspension stroke.
I did trim the wheel well liner in a couple spots to make a little room even though it wasn't touching as well as timing the Steeda mount a bit for peace of mind. Don't think it was necessary though in my case.
Also ben in the brake cable stay in the fender to give more clearance.
At ride height the tire wheel poke was slightly different. Drivers 2/8th inch and 1/16" pass.
