These are my (2) current square setups:

18x13/335 Rival S
19x12/305 RE-71R

Have also run 18x11/315, 18x12/315 and 18x12/335 square setups at various points in the past (4) seasons. Even tried a staggered 12/13 this year. I am fastest on my current square setups.
How much faster are you on the 335 Rivals than 305 Stones?

Depends on surface and conditions, but the answer is usually Bridgestone. The only time my Rivals are clearly faster is on asphalt with ambient temps approaching 100deg, especially when dual driven - they can take the heat while the Bridgestones tend to get greasy and inconsistent. But any time I can have them in a 120-140deg operating range they’re just as fast, but need to be driven with a lot of slip angle, relative to the RE71R. I didn’t get enough seat time on the Bridgestones last year, but pretty sure I’ll modify my driving style enough to be consistently faster on them for local/regional events (due to being single driven in the PNW climate). But will probably stick with BFG when dual driven at the big events in California and nats, provided conditions are favorable.

... of course, all bets are off with 1.5-2x the power I’ll have next season, so who knows - getting heat into the tires shouldn’t be much of a problem
