Just put this one on mine. Got it at Office Max. I cut it to fit after a LOT of measuring and creating a couple of templates.

It claims scratch resistant, fingerprint proof, & anti-glare. So far it's not absolutely fingerprint proof, but it might be better than just the screen. Can't test glare yet. I'll post results after driving a few days.

It was REALLY hard to get dust and lint off before installing. I used Ford's cleaning cloth and the one provided with the protector. Neither one could get off ALL the lint/dust.

Cleaning before applying...

I used a tablet cleaning spray before applying the Nushield. I cleaned the screen using cleaning paper that is made specifically for wiping off tablet screens (no lint, fuzzies, etc.). The Nushield protector was a perfect fit. I was worried that the protector had 'adhesive' over the whole sheet. Not sure how easy it will be to peel it off and clean the residue, if I ever have to. I have a small 'squeegee' that I use to apply 3M clear protective plastic. I used the squeegee to slowly sweep away any air bubble as I laid the protector sheet down from one side of the screen to the other. After two days, and warm weather I still don't see any bubbles (knock on wood). The anti-reflective anti-glare Nushield seems to make a considerable improvement when I have the top down.

Thanks for the update. Is that the DayVue you mentioned before? How much was the custom NuShield? How is it with fingerprints?

DayVue protector screen

The 8 inch Dayvue from Nushield was $18.00.
If you order...go through their listings to find 2015 Mustang. The plastic was precut to fit the MFT screen. Even tho' the screen is smooth plastic, it seems to reject fingerprints fairly well. I suppose if you have quite oily skin, your fingerprints may show up. But I purposely pinched the sheet surface a few times before installing, to check on fingerprinting. I only found one partial minor finger smudge. I have tablet screen cleaning spray I bought at Best Buy which I used to first doubly clean the MFT screen. I used lens cleaning paper to wipe and dry the MFT. I carefully washed my hands to remove any finger oil, before removing the backing from the Dayvue sheet. I ended up doing a final screen spray/wipe after installation. Fingerprints don't show on the Dayvue as much as on the OEM MFT screen.
Because my new Mustang is a convertible, I bought the Dayvue sheet more for its anti-glare properties than fingerprint protection. With the top down the MFT screen does get somewhat washed out and reflects the sky. Don't expect perfect anti-glare...I have tried a lot of products for my tablets (which I use outside quite a lot), none were as good as the advertisements promise. But they have always been better than the OEM screens.

If my make shift screen doesn't work out I'll definitely be getting one of those. Thanks for the tip on the tablet cleaning spray.
How do you like yours so far? (glare & fingerprints)

If you dont mind cutting to fit, this might work. Its matte finish, using it for almost 2 weeks and havent seen any finger print.

Caseen

I used microfiber towel and a double sided tape to pick up lint.

I discarded my 1st install since i cut it too long and had small lines on it for bending it too much. So i made another one since its a large sheet. With enough time and a ton of patience, im satisfied with the outcome.

I installed a privacy screen protector on my MFT yesterday to reduce fingerprints, glare and to dim the screen at night. It works great.

Fingerprints are far less noticeable. I can go much longer before I have to wipe the screen down and when I do the fingerprints wipe off easily.

I think the privacy screen protector keeps the perfect level of visibility for the touch screen. This is the brightness level that should have come from the factory. It is still easily visible during the day; at night, it no longer lights up the entire cabin.

I got the Tech Armor screen protector for the Ipad Air and cut it to size (http://www.amazon.com/Tech-Armor-generation-Privacy-Protector/dp/B00GPAF4B4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1431689827&sr=8-1&keywords=ipad+air+privacy+screen+protector). I don't know if how a different brand of privacy screen protector would compare. You can probably find a cheaper one by Tech Armor, but I bought this thinking I would use it on my Ipad in case it dimmed the screen too much. When installing the screen protector I noticed that it would be possible to cut it slightly larger than the MFT screen size since since it can slide under the plastic surround at the edges, but this might make installation a little more difficult.

Can't you dim the screen in the settings?

You can, but I still find it very bright on the dimmest setting.
