I can do flat bottom but only if demand made sense for me to mold and recast them that way to do one offs isn't worth it. I got overloaded with PM of guys wanting a wheel but it might be out of budget it seems for most. When you think about this Grant sells their S197 wheels for more money and those are UGLY. if you drove a BMW or Porsche a custom wheel usually cost anywhere from $1200-$1900 depending on how custom it is.

Although I love alcantara if you drive without wearing gloves it will not look so good after awhile.

i am forced to agree. i have a half-alcantara oem gt500 steering wheel on my 2011 and it's a bitch to keep clean... and don't even get me started on alcantara or suede seats :doh:

can i ask what kind of leather do you use? just wondering because i once bought an aftermarket wheel for a previous car and the leather they used was inexplicably sticky after extended use and needed frequent cleaning...

i've had a grant steering wheel before. uneven stitching, and the wheel was more oval than round... just strange. and definitely not worth the price. but the leather on mine was almost the same as oem though in terms of feel...

can you do steering wheels for 2010-2014?

GT350 wheel

I noticed the new GT350 wheel is thicker and the stitching matches what you have done with your wheel, did you have anything to do with that wheel?
Also the GT350 wheel appears to be slightly D shaped.

Steering wheel looks great! One question - will the bumps for the hand holds retain their shape over time? I am not sure if there is structure behind them or just foam. Also, how much to do same cost/materials as yours?

Bump for a Good friend and a Master Fabricator with anything he touches. Fellas i seen the wheel in person it feels and looks great! This is how it should of came out of the Factory. Quality work and precise with the added grip and stitching.
