Cool. So they stay folded even when you unlock the car or start the engine and it's only when you press the button that they unfold?
The power option is completely manual in both directions ... and to be honest its completely pointless. They barely move.

Not ideal but something is better than nothing.

My MK4 Mondeo estate JUST fits in the garage and the Mustang is a smidge shorter but I can't find out if it's a smidge slimmer or fatter (measurements I've found don't quote if it includes the mirrors or not), so anything to make it a tad slimmer is good.

It still won't be slim enough that I would want to be doing my contortionist act just to get in and out of the thing on a daily basis though. :(

If it wasn't gale force winds and hoying it down outside is go take a video of the fold / unfold for you, it's laughable really.
Comparing the mustang against the Vignale I had the mustang is quite a bit wider.

Steve - did Stuart attach the front plate for you? I want mine done the same - want to know what to ask for.

Thanks
Just ask him to do the same as mine. He will know what you mean.

CO photographs badly. Cameras can't deal with the colour. I've seen a couple up close both polished and dirty and it looks great and nothing like Race Red .

I've already asked Stuart this for my car, he said it'll be fine [emoji106]

The user manual says its 2080mm including mirrors if that helps at all?

Hopefully, yes!

Wiki says the Mondeo is 1886mm wide but doesn't say if that includes mirrors or not; Parkers has it at 2092mm which I'm hoping includes the mirrors rather than either of them just making a mistake somewhere, which puts the Mustang quite nicely into my garage!

:amen:

I'll just have to buy some freestanding mirrors to place in the garage so I can position it properly when the mirrors are folded in....and then hope the doors aren't too long for me to be able to get out!!

is it me or does the Competition Orange look more and more like the Race Red every time I see it?
I think it is more that the race red has a lot of orange in it - that's why I went for ruby red.

In some lights they can look similar I know what you mean, I was stuck between ruby red and guard! :)

Thanks for the measurements guys! I'm off to go measure my garage doors lol

Are you sure these are UK mirror widths?

I need to confirm widths too as I will need to fold the mirrors to get through the garage door.

This picture is from the new UK brochure and the wing mirrors aren't even as wide as the car !!!
