My Bullitt says K4500 above the dash. What does it mean?

See title.
K is the chassis character denoting a 2019 model year car and 4500 is the individual number of your Bullitt, starting at 1 presumably and destined to rise to over 10000, for example mine is K3538

Got it makes sense. Was thrown off by the roundish number.

Yes, it started at 0001 (someone paid $300,000 for that car as Ford auctioned it off for charity) and the total number produced over 2 years will probably go over 10000, but the model year 2019 numbers won't go over 9999 since there are only 4 digits being printed. Next year, it will start with L0001.

Why K and why L? Any reasoning to this or are they just two random numbers Ford picked?
