Did you degrease the surface before applying the pin stripe?

That may be a little more permanent than I want to go but good idea.Perhaps a red enamel paint a roller and a steady hand, followed by a clear coat?
Yes, used an alcohol wipeDid you degrease the surface before applying the pin stripe?
When you buy alcohol in a bottle there are two strengths, 71 and 90. Recommend you use something other than a wipe and make sure you are using automotive pin stripe that can withstand washing a car.Yes, used an alcohol wipe
Ok, I may try stronger alcohol but I think its to material. this plastic is not like paint,, it's slick. When you buy alcohol in a bottle there are two strengths, 71 and 90. Did the pinstripes you bought specifically state it's for automotive use?Ok, I may try stronger alcohol but I think its to material. this plastic is not like paint,, it's slick.

Seems to be correct so try a better solvent
Thanks for the recommendation! Not sure 58” long will work but I’ll measure.Might need some heat (or let them bake in the sun, rare as it still is here in Chicago) to let the adhesive set. If those don't hold up, Big Worm sells just the pinstripes for a pretty decent price and the quality is top notch: https://bigwormgraphix.com/2005-21-mustang-pinstripe-for-big-worm-kits/
Big Worm is easy to work with. He would probably cut you a longer length. I like it and am thinking about trying it out on my not worthy GT!Thanks for the recommendation! Not sure 58” long will work but I’ll measure.
Probably doesn’t help that it’s 50 degrees out this week.. doh!

This looks promising, after some browsing it seems like I may have to buy minimal 6 roles to try.Rule of thumb: if it's sticky, never use anything but 3M products

I like it, that red and black is magic! I'd go for it if the tape holds up. Then if ya like it, paint it.So, I ordered some 1/4” red pinstripe for $5 off Amazon.
Just did a little to see if I’d like it.
Thoughts?
