Did you degrease the surface before applying the pin stripe?

Perhaps a red enamel paint a roller and a steady hand, followed by a clear coat?
That may be a little more permanent than I want to go but good idea.
Thanks Howard

Yes, used an alcohol wipe
When you buy alcohol in a bottle there are two strengths, 71 and 90. Recommend you use something other than a wipe and make sure you are using automotive pin stripe that can withstand washing a car.

Ok, I may try stronger alcohol but I think its to material. this plastic is not like paint,, it's slick.

Might need some heat (or let them bake in the sun, rare as it still is here in Chicago) to let the adhesive set. If those don't hold up, Big Worm sells just the pinstripes for a pretty decent price and the quality is top notch: https://bigwormgraphix.com/2005-21-mustang-pinstripe-for-big-worm-kits/
Thanks for the recommendation! Not sure 58” long will work but I’ll measure.
Probably doesn’t help that it’s 50 degrees out this week.. doh!

Kinda feels like reflector tape on an old persons car that is always parked on the street.

Big Worm is easy to work with. He would probably cut you a longer length. I like it and am thinking about trying it out on my not worthy GT!

Yes, 50 degrees may be a contributing factor.

So, I ordered some 1/4” red pinstripe for $5 off Amazon.
Just did a little to see if I’d like it.
Thoughts?

I like it, that red and black is magic! I'd go for it if the tape holds up. Then if ya like it, paint it.
