I wonder if it would apply more to slotted rotors or more aggressive pads
From my understanding at this point (and I welcome braking experts to voice in here!), bedding procedure applies to any circumstance of new pads or new pads and discs, regardless of the particular rotor configuration. Given the difference I felt doing the procedure yesterday with new front pads, I would want to do it anytime any of the pads or discs are changed.

Is there anything in the owners manual regarding bedding the brakes?

Hey all,
So I Picked it up tonight. Special ordered back in October.
Put the first 40 miles on the Mach on a drive to pick up our favorite tacos, wife even drove with our puppy in the back.
Spent the last couple hours in the garage going over everything and all I can say is wow... I’m impressed! So much different than my 15 GT Premium.
Everywhere you look from the under carriage, engine bay, cooling ducts, aero, this thing is track focused! but inside its luxurious in the cabin.
Well done Ford!

To say that is a beautiful and mean looking car doesn't do it justice. I can only imagine what it looks like and sounds in person. Congratulations. Nicely done. Can you please tell me the size of the rims and tires. Also I looked for those rims on the Ford parts website and I couldn't find them. What are they? I want them.

Although as posted in US it says "magnetic painted" and in Europe/UK its "high gloss magnetic" so maybe there is a difference. On the pictures it looks black.
It's the same dark gray colour as in EU model promo photos, the optional wheels are identical.

9.5" 255/40 R19 front / 10" 275/40 R19 back. They're similar in design to GT PP2 wheels which are wider with 305/30 tyres. And someone said they're same looking as Ecoboost PP wheels but 0.5" wider.

Beautiful beast!!!! Can you help me out? I am in NYC, waiting for my Mach 1 to appear (as if by magic and a check...). Because I'm in NYC, I have to put a front license plate on and refuse to drill into the bumper. There are a couple of brackets possible, but no one knows for sure if it will fit the Mach 1. Can you measure the distance from the center mounting screw of the front splitter to the front of the splitter? If I know that, I can talk to these folks about the required bracket length from that mounting screw and they will know if the bracket clears for the license plate.

I am in the queue for a Mach 1 and live in NYS so I need to deal with a front license plate. I refuse to drill into the bumper and have been looking into the several options for front license plate brackets. None of them refer to the Mach 1 since it's that new. Can you tell me the distance between the center mounting screw that holds the front spoiler on and the spoiler's front edge? If I know that I can figure out if any of the brackets will provide the required clearance for the license plate.

I just sold my '67 last Fall in anticipation of buying the Mach 1... I had never owned any Mustang newer than 1970... Hopefully I'll notice the difference!
