I took the original battery out of my 19 GT and let it sit for 3 months. Not the perfect test but some info for entertainment purposes.
Battery production date: 06/14/19
Voltage 3 months ago at the beginning of test (charged up): 12.84 v
Voltage today before load test after sitting 3 months: 12.71 v
Voltage after load test: 12.66 v
Voltage while applying 10 second 100 amp test: 11.02 v
I used a Battery Tender load tester I bought on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089GZ3DHZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I used a Fluke volt meter model 115 that can store the lowest voltage while applying the 100 amp load.
Yes I know a starter can draw more current than that. The tester showed in the green for a 600 CCA battery.
Next up will be to let it sit a few more months with no charger and test again.
Enjoy the info and try not to get too serious. LOL
